Xiaomi recently announced that the company’s RedMy smartphone series will soon become a separate brand, and the first new-generation device will be released on January 10th.
It is expected that some of the 7 Series Series smartphones will be featured on that date, and it is possible that this is a Red Note 7 model that just appeared on the Geekbench benchmark with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
Redmi Note 7 made Geekbench a score of 1,462 points in a single-core test and 4,556 points in a multi-core test, which is roughly the same as the other devices running on the Snapdragon 660 processor. We have to admit that we are very happy about this, because there is finally a real upgrade to the Redma Note series after the Red Note 5 and the Red Note 6 Pro models that worked on the much weaker Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.
Geekbench as the operating system lists Android 9, which means that this will be the first RedMap smartphone to work on the latest Android version and overall the second behind the Mi Mix 3 flagship model. In addition, it is revealed that the Note 7 will have 6 GB of RAM, which is a real step forward for the device from the series Redmi, and for all of the above reasons we are eagerly awaiting the January 10th and its premiere.
